Abstract: The article notes that many factors influence the development of agriculture, most of which are of a managerial nature. In this regard, it was concluded that the main condition for improving the efficiency of the industry is to improve the public administration system. Organizational and economic measures aimed at clarifying the functions, structure and methods of functioning of this system, the implementation of which will contribute to the harmonious development of agricultural sectors, increase its competitiveness in general.
